Installation

pnpm dlx shadcn@latest add @magicui/confetti-basic-cannon

Requires @magicui in the registries of your components.json (shadcn adds official directory namespaces automatically).

Usage

usage.tsx
import { ConfettiButton } from "@/registry/magicui/confetti"export default function ConfettiButtonDemo() {  return (    <div className="relative">      <ConfettiButton>Confetti 🎉</ConfettiButton>    </div>  )}
  • Use for demonstrating the basic Magic UI confetti interaction.
  • Use on celebratory call-to-action buttons such as completing a milestone or submitting a success state.
  • Use in component showcases, playgrounds, and landing-page demos that need a lightweight celebratory effect.

Examples

Basic celebration

A direct use of the button with the same label as the registry example.

basic-celebration.tsx
import { ConfettiButton } from "@/registry/magicui/confetti"export default function CelebrationButton() {  return <ConfettiButton>Confetti 🎉</ConfettiButton>}

Milestone action

Uses the button as a celebratory action after reaching a goal.

milestone-action.tsx
import { ConfettiButton } from "@/registry/magicui/confetti"export default function MilestoneButton() {  return <ConfettiButton>Celebrate milestone</ConfettiButton>}

Success confirmation

Uses the button to celebrate a completed action.

success-confirmation.tsx
import { ConfettiButton } from "@/registry/magicui/confetti"export default function SuccessButton() {  return <ConfettiButton>完成! 🎉</ConfettiButton>}

Accessibility

  • The example’s visible button text provides an accessible name for the control.
  • Keep the label meaningful when replacing the default text, especially when the animation communicates success or completion.
  • The confetti animation should remain supplemental; communicate important success or status information with visible text or an appropriate status message.
  • Ensure the button remains keyboard reachable and activated through standard keyboard interaction provided by the underlying component.
