Installation

pnpm dlx shadcn@latest add @kokonutui/background-paths

Requires @kokonutui in the registries of your components.json (shadcn adds official directory namespaces automatically).

Usage

usage.tsx
import BackgroundPaths from "@/components/kokonutui/background-paths";export function Hero() {  return <BackgroundPaths title="Build something remarkable" />;}
  • As a visually expressive hero or landing-page opening with a short heading.
  • When a page needs an animated background that adds movement without intercepting pointer interactions.
  • For a full-screen introduction where the background can use the component’s built-in light or dark theme styling.

Accessibility

  • The title is rendered as an `h1`, providing a semantic page heading.
  • The SVG includes a `<title>` element with the text “Background Paths.”
  • The animated background wrapper uses `pointer-events-none`, so it does not block pointer interaction with content.
  • The component does not define reduced-motion handling; consider the effect’s continuous animation when using it on motion-sensitive pages.
